Last winter I decided I wanted to write a series based on my experiences as a biracial person. Inspired by shows like Insecure, Atlanta, and Master of None, I saw the power in creating your own work. I’ve titled the show, “Alex is Black” and it aims to find the hilarity that comes from the perspective of a person of color who is often seen as white by those around them.
In partnership with a longtime friend, Jordy Altman, and our new production company PitLab Productions, we are filming the first two episodes. We can’t wait to share what we are working on with you in the near future.
